Fred Thompson came in third in the South Carolina election with 16%.
McCain was first followed by Huckabee.
Huckabee blames his place due to Fred Thompson taking away votes. Huckabee accussed Fred Thompson of staying in the race only because he is a good friend of McCain and Huckabee is his biggest competition.
